Welcome to our blog!

The McGuire Sisters have been in different cities, different states and even different countries but for the first time in over 13 years we are finally together in the great state of Iowa. We aren't sure exactly why Iowa attracts us. Maybe it's the people, the growing community of athletes, the opportunities for business and personal development or even the weather. Wait. That's untrue. We all know the weather is the LAST thing to bring people here. But we love it nonetheless.

Our friend circles started to overlap and as a result, attend many of the same functions, hang outs, parties, join the same clubs, etc. (Actually the truth is we get a group rate and save on gas at the same time) We started going to a lot of things together...specifically hanging out with a small group of people in Waukee (I think you know who you are). Here is where the term "The McGuire Sisters" was coined. At first it started as a joke but quickly was embraced by many. Some have even become honorary members of The McGuire Sisters clan.

Until now, 11.11.11, we hadn't thought beyond name. But earlier today at a ribbon cutting for Orange Leaf in Urbandale, Cindy and I handed our business cards to a gentleman. He looked at them and said 'Ah, The McGuire Sisters'. He didn't know us and we didn't know him beyond that meeting; little did he know he sparked an idea. We realized that between the three of us we have many skills, lots of knowledge, a little humor and now a title. Why don't we share it? So that's what we decided to do. We want to share our likes, dislikes, learning experiences, tidbits of knowledge, and laughs along the way. We hope you enjoy our blog, learn something and tell your friends about The McGuire Sisters :)
